New Puppy Tips

It is important to make you and your puppy's first days easy and comfortable ones.
You will need to have some pet supply and puppy toys ready. They will need them for teething and exercise as well as playing. Toys stimulate a puppy’s brain activity. The selection of pet toys today is enormous. We recommend choosing several of different textures to begin with. A hard toy will distract your puppy from chewing hard things around your home. Secondly, he/she should have a soft toy, something he/she can chew up with out getting into trouble. When your canine has its own fuzzy pet product to carry around, he/she won't have to borrow from you. Also an action toy would be a wise choice. There are tug of war types or a fetching toy. Choose one you can use together. Puppies learn better when you don't try to teach too much at one time. Make the sessions short and always end on a good note. Make sure the training is fun for the puppy and he/she will learn faster and will be more eager to please. If the pup is having difficulty with one exercise, end on a good note and try again another day.
Other items that you should have on hand for the new puppy are pet care products such as good puppy shampoo and conditioner if necessary. Also dog grooming tools such as proper brushes and combs needed for your breed. Slickers, rakes and steel dog combs are very useful.
You are now ready for your puppy since you have some pet health care supplies; and probably a little more aware of the responsibility you are undertaking. One I believe is well worth all of your effort. Being well prepared to bring the new puppy home can now be a fun and learning experience.

Cat Talk

A man walked into a bar, sat down and ordered a beer. He heard a voice behind him saying, "Hey, got any food to spare?" He looked around and saw that he was the only customer in the place. So he shook his head and continued to enjoy his drink.
Then he heard it again, “Hey, got any food to spare?” He once again looked around and noticed a cat looking directly at him. He got all excited and yelled to the bartender, “That cat can talk! Did you hear that cat talk? That cat can talk!”

The bartender replied, “Mister, cats can’t talk. Don’t you know that? It’s the dog over there. He’s a ventriloquist.”
